Description:
Martel is the second in command of the Ibius Scoundrels, under Captain Belamros. The first time Martel encounters Locke and Lilanei, they are both too prone to take notice – as Lilanei is extremely air sick, and Locke is bound and blind folded with a sack. They do notice, however, the loud click of her feet's talons against the deck of the Mighty Blue which she helps pirate. They do not meet the large bird creature again until they reach one of the highest levels of the Pirate's Cove, where she makes her home. Martel is quickly disposed of, unable to defend herself against Locke and Lilanei's fury. They later discover that Captain Belamros didn't have much of a liking for the strange woman – most likely due to her constant demands and the fact she insisted on devouring most of the people they captured, as well as some of the pirate crew when it suited her fancy!
