Description:
Belamros is the Captain of the crew of pirates known as the Ibius Scoundrels. Our Heroes first “meet” him on the Mighty Blue, which he commandeers with the help of his pirate crew. Despite the fact they do not meet him face to face due to their prone positions, it is not long after their venture in the Pirate's Cove that they meet him again. Blocking their path to the nearest town, he refuses to budge without a fight. Locke and Lilanei comply and to their surprise, the Captain takes a good beating before he finally collapses – on the verge of death. With some “persuasion” from an angry rogue, Belamros reveals to our heroes that he is a Half-Elf and that he and his crew of elves and humans are outlaws from the northern part of Ibius – where elven kind are not widely accepted due to the tyrannical King Bertz. After he informs them of the danger, he asks Lilanei to kill him – presumably because he would rather not be bested by Locke, of the enemy race. She refuses and the two instead walk away – leaving Belamros to make his escape on his massive Griffon, during which he vows they will regret their foolishness. . .
