Description:
Although our Heroes do not recognize Dara when they first meet on the Mighty Blue, Dara explains she knows them well – as they had saved her, along with the rest of her people, in the little village of Willow's Keep not long ago. Now, she and her human husband, Marc, are leaving Murrad for a new home in Ibius - unwelcome in Willow's Keep, due to Adiel's arrogant hatred of humans. They become instant friends, Dara's friendly manner quite infectious on our two young travelers. Soon after meeting, they find themselves in the clutches of the evil pirates, the Ibius Scoundrels, and Locke and Alexandra work together to free Dara and Lilanei, who are taken away by a small number of these pirates. Alexandra leaves; however, Dara remains with Locke and Lilanei until they reach Martel's chamber, where Dara is delivered a quite harmful wound to her shoulder. Working quickly, Locke and Lilanei administer to her a potion before freeing her husband and children and sending them away on the only life boat left in the Cove. Now, Dara and her family have escaped, floating into an unknown part of the great continent of Ibius.
